Police are asking residents to 'bearproof' their homes and yards and keep pets confined.

Town of Clinton police say there have been several sightings, and it is believed there are two adults and one cub.
The animals have mainly been spotted in the Knolls areas and the west end of town.
Anyone who sees the bears should refrain from approaching them. Police ask residents to take time to "bearproof" their homes, yards and trash cans and to keep pets confined.
