Yes, it's been hot outside. Really hot. Blazing even. But jumping off bridges into the Delaware or Lehigh rivers isn't the best of ideas.No. 1, you could get killed.
But, if you happen to survive, there's always the possibility of disorderly conduct charges.
The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission reported to Pennsylvania State Police in Dublin that its officers observed via videotape four New Jersey residents allegedly jumping Tuesday evening from the Bridgeton-Milford bridge -- which connects Bucks and Hunterdon counties -- into the Delaware.
Cited with disorderly conduct are:
- Scott Phillips, 20, of Budd Lake, N.J.
- Kevin Morgan, 21, of Budd Lake, N.J.
- Daniel Marks, 22, of Hackettstown
- Alison McCann, 21, of Hackettstown
